Jepson Center for the Arts
The primary Telfair Museums Store location, the Jepson Center store features a wide range of contemporary merchandise, reflecting the innovative architecture of the building. It offers visitors a unique shopping experience with items ranging from the latest in jewelry design, to one-of-a-kind art pieces produced by craftspeople from around the world, to “green” products created with environmentally-sustainable materials and processes. The store also showcases a distinctive selection of locally-produced art objects, as well as educational items relating to the diverse cultural arts programs offered by the Telfair through permanent and traveling exhibitions.
Owens-Thomas House
The Owens-Thomas Museum Store, located in the Carriage House, features traditional and historically-relevant products and gift items. Merchandise reflects the architectural heritage of the Owens-Thomas House, as well as the region, the natural habitat, and the artists and craftspeople of the area.
Books are the backbone of the shop’s educational materials and, whenever possible, they are purchased from local publishers. Categories include fine art, architecture, Savannah and Georgia history, African-American history, the Civil War, regional arts and fine crafts, historic preservation, regional cooking, and the art and history of formal gardening. Other merchandise includes jewelry, gifts, paper products, educational materials, and children’s items.
Telfair Academy
The Telfair Academy does not house a separate museum store; however, a limited selection of merchandise is available in the lobby area-including books, posters, notecards, and educational and children’s items. Featured merchandise reflects the social and architectural heritage of the site as well as the region, the natural habitat, the artists and craftspeople of the area, and the rich cultural arts programs offered by Telfair Museums through permanent and traveling exhibitions.
Museum admission is not required for entry to any of the Telfair Museums Store locations.
