There are many ways that you can partner with the Telfair to help us continue providing our community a forum for artistic exploration, learning, and social exchange, as well as helping to preserve our cultural legacy for future generations.
Gifts of Cash
The majority of gifts made to Telfair Museums come in the form of cash. A gift of cash receives the most generous federal income tax deduction for charitable contributions.
Matching Gifts
Make your donation to Telfair Museums go further by participating in your company’s matching gift program. Many companies will match your contribution to the Telfair if you are an employee, retiree, or board member.
Before you make your gift to the Telfair, check to see if your organization has a matching gift program. If so, request a matching gift form and send it, completed and signed, with your gift to the museum.

Planned Giving
Planned giving is a way to contribute to Telfair Museums using estate-planning vehicles. The Mary Telfair Legacy Society was created to recognize members and friends who have demonstrated a lasting commitment to the Telfair though their wills, estate plans, life income arrangements, or through creation of a named endowment.
Mary Telfair Legacy Society members also receive benefits beyond those generally offered by the museum, including an exclusive annual recognition event and the opportunity to receive formal acknowledgment in the Academy building. In-kind Donation
The donation of services or products is a way to support the museum without a monetary gift. Throughout the year, the museum must purchase necessities such as office supplies and equipment, printing and advertising, catering and decorating services for our fundraising events, and much, much more.
