DESCRIPTION:Melchers Society members will attend the opening lecture for the George Bellows retrospective at the National Gallery of Art\, to which Telfair Museums has loaned its iconic Bellows painting\, Snow-Capped River. Members will also enjoy a private tour of the exhibition led by a member of the National Gallery’s staff. In addition\, members will participate in a tour of the Hillwood estate and gardens. Those attending will make their own travel arrangements and hotel reservations.
