Telfair Museums is pleased to partner with the Gray’s Reef National Marine Sanctuary to present two exciting events related to the 10th annual Gray’s Reef Ocean Film Festival. The festival will kick off at 6:30 pm on Thursday, September 20, with a screening of the film Turtle: The Incredible Journey at Telfair Museums’ Jepson Center.

Following the film, which tells the story of a young loggerhead turtle following the path of her ancestors, the fate of loggerhead turtles in the southeast will be discussed by Frank Gromling (publisher and author, Ocean Publishing) and Kris Williams (director, Caretta Sea Turtle Research Project).
