Join Mary Whyte for an intensive one day watercolor workshop in painting the portrait and figure from life. In this class Whyte will discuss her approach to creating dynamic compositions, while demonstrating her techniques for painting skin, backgrounds and clothing. The highlight of the day will be Whyte’s guided tour of her acclaimed exhibition Working South, with the artist providing insight into the fifty works that were created over a three and a half year period. For students of all levels, don’t miss this opportunity to meet and paint with one of the country’s leading watercolor artists. A suggested supply list will be sent upon class registration.
